CERTEX 3200 Check Signer
The Certex Model 3200 combines the features of a stand-alone and a computer interface check signer in one unit. The 3200 has all the functionality of the previous Model 3100, plus it adds additional features while maintaining the original look and feel of the previous model. Connect the 3200 between your computer and printer, run your check-writing program, and your checks are printed, protected and signed in one operation. Security The Certex Model 3200 offers PIN-number control for each operator, set by the executive with restricted access for signatures and accounts. A key is required to power on the unit. A non-resettable counter counts all checks printed. Added double height protected amount numerals help prevent alteration and give a professional appearance to the check. Flexibility Seven channels can be programmed for seven separate check formats or accounts. The Model 3200 can be set for any form size or several signatures in one program. If changes are necessary it can be programmed through the keypad or optional keyboard. Those changes can be made immediately and without the expense of a new signature chip. The 3200 has the ability to digitally create and store forms. Checks, money orders, cashiers checks and certificates, including the MICR line, can be printed on blank safety paper. We can generate custom digital forms and e-mail them to you. With an inexpensive device (less than $100) you can store the form in a tiny Memory Module Card (MMC) using your P.C. and USB port. The MMC is then installed in the 3200. Note: Laser printer and special toner are required to print a MICR line. INTERFACE Input - RS232 (serial) 300 - 38400 baud or Parallel (Centronics) - may be configured through the keypad or optional keyboard. Output - parallel (Centronics).
