The Destroyit 2604CC also includes a patent safety protection system on the feed opening and an "Easy Switch" control element uses color codes and back-lit symbols to indicate operational status.

The Destroyit 2604 CC is equipped with a light display that monitors capacity levels and prevents paper jams. The Destroyit Model 2604 CC is equipped with an automatic reverse feature in case of a paper jam and will power down when shred bag is full or when cabinet door is opened.
